毛虾属（Acetes）是十足目樱虾科的一个属，是东南亚的重要经济作物，主要用于生产虾酱或干晒成为虾皮。当中以日本毛虾及中国毛虾为当中最大宗。
简述
毛虾属的体型只有1-4 cm 长，身体透明，但有一双黑眼睛，还有身体上含有红色色素的尾足[1]。这些色素来自一种寄生在虾身的红藻，含有虾红素。由于其细小的体型，一般的渔民均会采用拖网来捞捕毛虾。毛虾属的特点除了其细小体型以外，其第四及第五对脚亦已退化[1][2]。
生命周期
毛虾属的卵绿色，生长后其体积会发涨至原来的两倍以上[3]。每年的年初，卵子会孵化成为幼虫，并于同年成长、成熟成为成虾[4]。
