2016年10月24日，三名全副武裝的恐怖分子襲擊巴基斯坦奎達的俾路支省警察培訓學院。造成62名學員死亡、超過165人受傷[1][2]。伊斯蘭國呼羅珊省聲稱對這起恐怖襲擊負責，巴基斯坦的遜尼派穆斯林激進組織羌城軍聲稱是跟前者合作[3][4]。巴基斯坦當局稱，襲擊者來自阿富汗並在接頭人的指引下發起襲擊[5]。

襲擊

三名武裝分子在週二10月24日晚上11:10闖入培訓中心。由於事發時間為晚上，學員們都在睡覺。武裝份子趁機挾持數百名學員作為人質與安全部隊對峙[2][6]。這起恐怖襲擊至少造成61人死亡，超過165人受傷[3][7][8]。

三名武裝分子均在襲擊中喪生。其中兩名引爆自殺腰帶自殺，另一個由警方射殺。之所以會出現那麼多受害者正是因為被犯人的自殺腰帶爆炸所波及到的。

犯人

奎達邊境兵團的兵團長謝爾·阿富罕少將（شیر افگن‎；Sher Afgan）聲稱，實施這起襲擊的主謀是巴基斯坦的遜尼派穆斯林激進組織羌城軍。不久之後，伊斯蘭國呼羅珊省通過阿馬克新聞社宣稱對這起襲擊負責，並且公布了攻擊者的照片。[9][10][11]

高級安全官員聲稱ISIL把這次襲擊任務外包給羌城軍[12]。羌城軍下屬派系阿拉米發言人告訴路透社：該組織和伊斯蘭國一起完成了這次襲擊[4]分析人士表示，ISIL顯然已經在巴基斯坦與當地團體一起合作。[10]。

後續

巴基斯坦總理納瓦茲·謝里夫取消他所有的活動並會見奎達軍隊官員[13][14]。巴基斯坦國家安全顧問江諸華通知美國駐巴大使大衛·黑爾：印度研究分析室和阿富汗國家安全局均有「贊助」巴基斯坦恐怖組織攻擊軟目標，並強調對激進份子採取有效行動的必要性[15][16]。

國際

  •  中國 – 外交部發布譴責攻擊的聲明並對受害者的家屬表示同情：「中國將繼續支持巴基斯坦政府，努力為巴基斯坦公民提供保護和安全」[17]
  •  法國 – 外交部長讓-馬克·埃羅向遇難者家屬表示慰問並表示：「法國在這悲慘的情況下向遇難者家屬表示慰問。法國會在恐怖主義面前站在巴基斯坦當局這邊。」[18][19]
  •  日本 – 外務省發言人川村泰久譴責此次襲擊：「日本強烈譴責這種把目標定為無辜的人的恐怖主義行為」，並向遇難者家屬表示慰問：「日本向遇難者家屬表示慰問，也祈福受害者早日回歸日常生活。」[20]他還表示日本將會與巴基斯坦政府合作：「日本打算與國際社會一起支持巴基斯坦政府打擊恐怖主義的行為。」[21]
  •  德國 – 外交部長弗蘭克-瓦爾特·施泰因邁爾指責這起襲擊：「我們譴責奎達警察學校發生的恐怖襲擊，其中有超過60人死亡...我們向巴基斯坦的所有人民表示最深切的哀悼。」[22]
  •  俄羅斯 – 總統普京表示慰問：「俄羅斯國家元首表達了這種野蠻的犯罪策劃者和執行者將受到懲罰的信心並重申俄羅斯願進一步加強與巴基斯坦的反恐合作。」[25]

  •  聯合國 – 聯合國秘書長的副發言人法罕·哈克代表秘書長潘基文向遇難者的家屬表示慰問：「秘書長向遇難者家屬、巴基斯坦政府和人民表示衷心的慰問，希望受傷者早日康復」，並代表秘書長指責這起襲擊：「實施這令人髮指的暴力行為的恐怖組織將會被繩之以法。」[28][29]

學生們守夜

一群巴基斯坦學生在美國密歇根大學迪亞格（The Diag）舉行守夜活動，為在襲擊中受傷、去世的人祈禱。[30]
