薔薇類植物是APG 分類法中的一個具有親緣關係的植物類群，和菊類一起組成真雙子葉植物的主要部分。薔薇類基本包括克朗奎斯特分類法中金縷梅亞綱和薔薇亞綱中的種類，還有五椏果亞綱中的部分種。因為基於分子生物學的數據，所以比傳統分類法更能準確反映植物的進化關係。
