非洲冠雕，又称冠雕、冠鹰雕，是撒哈拉以南非洲最大的猛禽。在南部非洲主要栖息于河岸林地与各种森林中。[2]非洲冠雕是非洲冠雕属中的唯一物种，此属中的另一物种马达加斯加冠雕于人们开拓马达加斯加时灭绝。[3]
