贾雷德·梅森·戴蒙德（英语：Jared Mason Diamond，1937年9月10日—）， 美国演化生物学家、生理学家、生物地理学家以及非小说类作家。他最著名的作品《枪炮、病菌与钢铁》发表于1997年，曾获得普利策奖。
生平
戴蒙德出生于波士顿，父亲为一位医生，母亲为一位兼具语言学能力的音乐老师。戴蒙德毕业于Roxbury拉丁学校后，在1958年获得哈佛大学文学士学位，于1961年获得剑桥大学膜生物物理及生理学博士学位。1962年至1966年返回哈佛担任基础研究员，在1966年担任加州大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）医学院的教授一职。在他二十余岁时，他同时研究新几内亚的鸟类生态与演化行为，并多次探险新几内亚与其周围的群岛。在他五十余岁时，戴蒙德进行环境史的研究，并担任加州大学洛杉矶分校的地理与环境健康科学的教授。
