约翰·迪金森（1732年11月—1808年2月14日），男，美国政治家，美利坚合众国宪法签署人。1767年至1768年期间，他撰写了十二封《宾夕法尼亚农民的来信》，而被称之为“革命的笔者”。作为第一次大陆会议的成员，他起草了1774年《致国王的请愿书》；在第二次大陆会议上，起草了1775年《橄榄枝请愿书》，试图与英国国王斡旋。当这些努力失败后，他与托马斯·杰斐逊合作撰写最终版本、1775年《关于拿起武器的原因和必要的宣言》。当会议决定寻求独立时，迪金森供职于委员会并起草《协议模型》，并签署1776年至177年的《邦联条例》

迪金森之后担任1786年安纳波利斯大会主席，该大会之后改称“1787年制宪会议”，此后迪金森担任特拉华州的代表。

1768年，他撰写《自由之歌》，并在美国独立战争中担任军事将领、特拉华主席、宾夕法尼亚主席，并在最有势利的北美殖民者之间斡旋。在迪金森去世后，托马斯·杰斐逊总统称赞他为“当不列颠王国进攻时，他与首批独立主张者一同为国家权力抗争。他的名字将在伟大独立运动历史中永存。”

约翰·迪金森和妻子玛丽·诺里斯·迪金森创建了迪金森学院（最初命名为“约翰和玛丽学院”）。此外宾夕法尼亚州立大学的迪金森法学院和特拉华大学的迪金森综合楼（Dickinson Complex）都以他命名。
