海氏鳄科（Hylaeochampsidae）是鳄形超目的一科，视群基础真鳄类，被认为是现代鳄鱼的近亲[1]。
在1913年，查尔斯·威廉·安德鲁斯建立海氏鳄科，以包含海氏鳄属[2]。在2007年，在匈牙利发现的鳄神鳄被发现是海氏鳄的姊妹分类单元，也被归类于海氏鳄科。早在1887年命名的Heterosuchus，曾被归类于海氏鳄科[3]。Heterosuchus可能与海氏鳄是同种动物，但是化石过于破碎、不完整，目前状态是疑名，也无法确实证明它们属于海氏鳄科、或属于真鳄类[1]。在2011年发现的Pietraroiasuchus也被归类于海氏鳄科，根据该属的命名研究，Pietraroiasuchus、厚唇鳄都被归类于海氏鳄科[4]。
海氏鳄科生存于白垩纪的欧洲。海氏鳄、Heterosuchus的化石都发现于英格兰的威特岛，属于威克蒂斯组（Vectis Formation），地质年代是白垩纪早期的巴列姆阶。鳄神鳄的化石发现于匈牙利的Csehbánya组，地质年代属于白垩纪晚期的桑托阶。海氏鳄科的头颅骨低矮、口鼻部短，后段牙齿大，适合压碎食物，是异型齿动物。鳄神鳄的后段牙齿具有多个齿尖，类似哺乳动物的牙齿，这在鳄形类动物非常特殊。研究人员根据牙齿型态、颌部关节特征，推测鳄神鳄是植食性动物[5]。
