水稻草狀矮縮病毒（Rice grassy stunt virus，RGSV）是一種由褐飛虱（Nilaparvata lugens）和Nilaparvata屬的N. bakeri與N. muiri.[1][2]傳播的一種植物病毒。
RGSV在南亞、東南亞、中國大陸、日本和中國台灣等地發現。[3]1970年到1977年之間，印度尼西亞是RGSV的高發區。 1973年到1977年間，菲律賓發生了RGSV，隨後在1982年到1983年間再次爆發。[2]印度部分地區分別在1972年至1974年、1978年、1981年與1984年受到RGSV之威脅，因而造成嚴重的經濟損失[4][5]1978年，日本九州地區報導了高水平的RGSV。[6]。
2000年至2008年間，因為水稻草狀矮縮病毒和同屬褐飛虱為害的水稻矮化病毒一起發生，越南的湄公河三角洲地區遭受了水稻大量減產。[7][8][9][10]
