Joyent的託管單元Triton旨在與亞馬遜的EC2雲[3]競爭，並為大型企業提供基礎架構即服務 （IaaS）和平台即服務（PaaS）。

該託管業務活躍於在線社交網絡遊戲領域[4]，為THQ[5]，Social Game Universe和Traffic Marketplace等公司提供服務。

該公司早期還託管了Twitter[6]。其他客戶還包括LinkedIn，Gilt Groupe和Kabam[3]。

歷史

Joyent由David Paul Young於2004年秋天創立[16]，並於2005年7月成立公司，由Young擔任執行官兼董事[17]。早期的種子資金中有一些來自彼得·泰爾。

Joyent早期產品之一是名為Joyent Connector的在線協作工具[18]，它是一種異常巨大的Ruby on Rails應用程式，在2005年10月的Web 2.0會議上進行了演示[19]，並在2006年3月啟動，在2007年開源[20]，並在2011年8月被停止[21]。
