錘舌菌綱（學名：Leotiomycetes）是真菌界子囊菌門下的一個綱。錘舌菌綱下的許多真菌物種都是植物病原菌。[4]
系統分類學
錘舌菌綱下有許多物種過去因未發現有性世代而被歸為半知菌，直到最近才被歸入本綱中。過去的分類系統將錘舌菌綱歸屬於盤菌類中[5]，後來分子系統發生學的研究表明盤菌類並非單系群，而將其分拆成包含錘舌菌綱在內的數個獨立的綱。多數學者認為盤菌亞門中，錘舌菌綱是糞殼菌綱的旁系群。分子證據也顯示錘舌菌綱下可分為若干亞綱，但錘舌菌綱本身是否為單系群，仍需更多實驗證據證明。[6][7]
特徵
錘舌菌綱下的多數物種大多在子囊盤（apothecia）中產生子囊。子囊是圓柱形的並且沒有囊蓋（Operculum）。產生的子囊孢子大多是透明的，形狀各異。孢子透過圓形的頂孔散播。[8]
分布
錘舌菌綱分布全球。主要分布地點包括北美洲、歐洲、澳大利亞、紐西蘭以及南美洲西部。[9][10]
