金墉（英语：Jim Yong Kim，朝鲜语：김용，1959年12月8日—），生于韩国首尔，后移民美国，美籍韩裔医学教授与公共卫生学者，前任世界银行行长，亦是首位亚裔世界银行行长[1]。金墉在出任世界银行行长之前是常春藤达特茅斯学院的第17任校长，是常春藤学校的首位亚裔校长[2][3]。

2019年1月7日，金墉宣布他将在同年2月1日辞去世界银行行长的职务。[4][5]

生平

金墉1959年12月[6]8日出生于韩国首尔，5岁时随父母移民至美国爱荷华州的马斯卡廷。他的父亲于爱荷华大学任教牙医学，而他的母亲则取得了哲学博士学位。金墉高中毕业后，只在爱荷华大学读了一年半，然后转往布朗大学就读，并于1982年取得文学士。1991年，从哈佛医学院取得医科博士；1993年于哈佛大学得到人类学系的博士[7]。他是非营利机构“卫生伙伴组织”创始人之一，曾出任世界卫生组织总干事顾问，2004年至2006年任世卫组织艾滋病防治部门主管。2009年7月，他出任达特茅斯学院校长，成为美国常青藤联盟院校首位亚裔校长。[6]

2012年3月23日，美国总统奥巴马宣布提名他为世界银行总裁[8][9]。

2012年4月16日，世界银行宣布任命在韩国出生的美国公民金墉（Dr.Jim Yong Kim）为下一任行长，任期五年[10]。
