盘螺总科（学名：Valvatoidea）是一种微小的异鳃类下异鳃类支序的腹足纲软体动物总科，包括有淡水螺和海螺[2][3][4]。
分类
2005年分类
根据2005年的《布歇特和洛克罗伊的腹足类分类》，本分类元是下异鳃类之下的一个总科，包括下列三个现生科与一个化石科[2]：
- Cornirostridae科 Ponder, 1990
- Hyalogyrinidae科 Warén & Bouchet, 1993[5][6]
- † Provalvatidae科 Bandel, 1991[7]
- 盘螺科 Valvatidae Gray, 1840
过往WoRMS除了上述四个科以外，还包括Xylodisculidae科 Warén, 1992[3][4][8]。这个科在《布歇特和洛克罗伊的腹足类分类》被归为下异鳃类之下的总科地位未定分类[2]，但与本总科的四个科的物种都有扇状齿舌（rhipidoglossate hyalogyrinid radula）[5]。
2017年分类
根据2017年的《布歇特等人的腹足类分类》，下异鳃类改称“下异鳃下纲”；此外Xylodisculidae科与Orbitestellidae科合组成为Orbitestelloidea总科，不再属于本总科[9][10]。有其他文献不同意盘螺总科这个分类单元，指除了形态近似以外，基本上与盘螺科关系不大，所以采纳了另外的不分等（non-ranked）上层分类“外鳃类”（Ectobranchia Fischer, 1884）以取代本分类[11]:3。
