特髅鳄属（学名：Tecovasuchus）是坚蜥目的一属。第一批发现的化石是皮内成骨，发现于美国德州的特髅组（Tecovas Formation），地质年代为三叠纪晚期的卡尼阶。新墨西哥州与亚历桑纳州的钦尔组（Chinle Formation）、以及特髅组、蓝水溪组（Bluewater Creek Formation）、圣塔罗莎组（Santa Rosa Formation）的Los Esteros段，也有发现特髅鳄的化石[1][2]。
在1995年，特髅鳄的化石被鉴定为新物种。这些化石被认为可能属于副正体龙，或是类似副正体龙的坚蜥类物种[3][4]。但直到2006年才被正式叙述、命名，模式种是T. chatterjeei[5]。特髅鳄的数个鳞甲特征，可以用来鉴定、辨别它们与其他坚蜥类的差异，例如背部中线的鳞甲厚、表面有沟痕与凹处、鳞甲往后侧倾斜，以及突出的身体两侧鳞甲。
在美国西南部的三叠纪晚期地层，特髅鳄的化石被视为是标准化石[1]。
