Object history English: "[...] that the coat of arms of the Confederation shows on a golden yellow background the one-headed black eagle, the head turned to the right, the wings open, but with closed plumage, beak, tongue and fangs of red color. If the federal eagle is depicted without framing, the same image and the same colours as for the eagle in the federal coat of arms shall be used, but the tips of the plumage shall be directed outwards."
