It is particularly difficult to find the right way to write these communes in Chinese, because some names have a French, Walloon, Dutch or German origin. And even some local way to write it, with for example some German names written with French rules. For example also, "W" is pronounced the English or Dutch way in the French speaking part of Belgium, and not the French way ("W"="V").   • some letters are not pronounced. Ex : "Chaudfontaine' is prononced "Chaufontaine", "Anthisnes" is pronounced "Antine", ...
  • some way to write are only found in this region. For exemple, "xh" instead of "h" is sometime pronounced, and sometimes not...
  • Trooz is an old Walloon way to write ("trau")
  • ...

It is also very important to speak the local language to know when you have to make a transliteration (most of the time) or a translation (ex : 默兹河畔圣乔治 - Saint-Georges-sur-Meuse)
