注释	The full album Half Portraits of the Great Sage and Virtuous Men of Old consists of sixty leaves. It includes 120 notable Confucians, spanning from the Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC) up to the Yuan dynasty. Judging from the names in the title labels in the upper right corners of the portraits, the album must have been done after the Yuan dynasty court ennobled Confucius' major disciples in 1330. The first 14 portraits in the album are in order: Confucius Yan Hui, styled Ziyuan Zeng Shen, styled Ziyu Kong Ji, styled Zisi Meng Ke Ran Geng, styled Boniu Ran Yong, styled Zhonggong Min Sun, styled Ziqian Zai Yu, styled Ziwo Duanmu Ci, styled Zigong Ran Qiu, styled Ziyou Zhong You, styled Zilu Yan Yan, styled Ziyou Bu Shang, styled Zixia
