蒙彼利埃 （Montpelier）是美国佛蒙特州首府、华盛顿县县治。位于该州中部、威努斯基河北岸，与巴里合称为双城。根据美国2000年人口普查，人口为8,035 人，是全美人口最少的州府。

历史

蒙彼利埃城最早有欧洲人定居是于1787年5月。到1791年，人口有117人。

1849年，中佛蒙特铁路开通，由加拿大魁北克经此城，直达纽约、康涅狄格州等地。此铁路一直用到1995年为止。

地理

蒙彼利埃城是属于平原地区，四周受山包围。威努斯基河流经。

气候

整体气候属大陆性，夏季温度最高曾达摄氏35-36度；冬天则最低可达摄氏零下37度。
