渐台一（Delta2 Lyrae、δ2 Lyr）是在天琴座的一颗4等星，距离地球大约900光年。它的光谱是M4II的标准[4]，意思是它是一颗亮巨星，表面温度大约是3,600K。它辐射出的能量是太阳的10,000倍，但是超过90%的能量是在比可见光更长的红外线波段。直接的测量，结合依巴谷卫星的视差，得到它的半径是1.1[5] - 1.3[6]天文单位，与从其它观测资料计算得到的大小符合。
它原本是一颗蓝色主序星，但现在已经是一颗低温的渐近巨星分支的恒星，核已经是简并的碳-氧核心。它是颗半规则变星，变光幅度0.2等，但是周期不确定。渐台一和渐台增一（天琴座δ1）曾经被认为是一对目视联星，但实情并非如此，只是从地球看它们两颗星在同一个方向上。 从其邻近的恒星系统CCDM J18545+3654BC光谱显示，它与渐台一在相同的距离上，这可能意味着这三颗星形成一个三合星的恒星系统。在这种情况下，CCDM J18545+3654BC与渐台一的距离是24,000 AU，而轨道周期大约要24,000年。而在CCDM J18545+3654BC系统的两颗星相距约600天文单位，互绕的轨道周期至少要10,500年。
