杰·弗里曼（英语：Jay Freeman，1981年11月27日—）是一名美国商人及软件工程师。他因为开发Cydia应用程序及相关iOS越狱软件，使苹果公司的iOS能够安装并自订在App Store系统规范之外的软件而著名。

教育及早期工作

费里曼自加利福尼亚大学圣塔芭芭拉分校创意研究学院毕业，获取计算机科学学位。[1]2009年，他在该校获取计算机科学博士学位。[2]

费里曼在2002年建构一个.NET反编译器Anakrino。[3]他在2005年与他人合著发布一篇关于“Java全局事件规范与监视资料库”的论文。[4]他与布莱恩·福克斯共同执行多项自由业工作。[5]

软件

iOS

2008年2月，费里曼发布Cydia的初始版本，这是一款针对iOS系统的越狱工具。[6]2009年5月，他新增了专属Cydia的商店系统，使开发者能够销售他们的软件。[7]2010年9月，他的公司SaurikIT宣布收购Rock Your Phone公司，SaurikIT与Rock Your Phone原为市场上最大的两间第三方软件供应商。[8]

费里曼特别为iOS越狱发布了开发者软件制作工具，此外，他开发出一组名为Cydia Substrate的框架，让开发者以扩充组件修改iOS的框架，[9]以及一款脚本工具Cycript，允许开发者检查并修改iOS及OS X上执行的应用程序。[10]

费里曼亦在Android操作系统上进行软件开发与安全性研究。他在2008年将Debian移植至Android设备中。[20]2013年4月，他对Google眼镜建构Root环境[21]并评估产品安全性风险。[22]2013年5月，他发布Android版本的Cydia Substrate。[23]2013年7月，他找到Android系统“Master Key”的漏洞。[24]
