宵星傳奇：修订间差异

游戏概念在2005年已有构思，被定为「貫徹正义的[[电子角色扮演游戏|RPG]]」（{{lang|ja|正义を貫き通すRPG}}），开发团队有感前作《[[深淵传奇]]》的技术限制而以新世代主机硬件进行本作的开发。由于当時PlayStation 3仍未面世，因此团队決定游戏将对应Xbox 360。游戏名称「Vesperia」来自[[维纳斯]]（Venus）的別称「Vesper」以反映主題乃正义和突顯主角是像[[黃昏]]時分的[[金星]]般的一顆明星。游戏动画片段由[[Production I.G]]开发<ref name="1upInterview">{{cite web|url=http://www.1up.com/previews/tales-of-vesperia_3|title=Tales of Vesperia Preview|author=1UP Staff|publisher=[[1UP.com]]|date=2008-04-16|accessdate=2014-05-31|||}}</ref>。
