第三纪（英语：Tertiary Period），是古近纪及新近纪的旧称。
背景
国际地层委员会（International Commission on Stratigraphy）已不再承认第三纪是正式的地质年代名称，并拆分为古近纪与新近纪两个时期。
在过去，古近纪和新近纪也曾分别被叫做早第三纪和晚第三纪。
